The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for performing accounting and clerical duties essential for the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
- This position provides a flexible remote/hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of in-office work once a week at our headquarters in Chicago, IL.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
_**- Input, upload, and post invoices into the system
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Verify that all payment requests have necessary approvals and supporting documentation
- Identify and address any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Prepare invoices for payment
- Organize and execute check runs
- Compile supporting documentation for audits
- Communicate with vendors and field staff, addressing inquiries
- Support management with miscellaneous projects
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
_**- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
- One to two years of general accounting or accounts payable experience required.
- Proficiency in using accounts payable or procurement software; knowledge of Coupa is a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities:

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly, Excel.

- Adaptable with ability to thrive in a fastpaced and everchanging environment
Physical Requirements:
_**- Majority (90%) of work is conducted indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
