    Candidate Profile

    Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Transmission & Interconnection Manager, U.S. . This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies. .

    The successful candidate will assist in due diligence on potential project acquisitions, define queue position risk while planning and tracking progress within each RTOs queue cycle. This position will be based in TX and report to the Vice President of Technical. The role requires the ability to effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

    What You Will Bring:
    • Undergraduate Degree in electrical engineering or masters preferred.
    • At least 5 years of professional experience in transmission management role is required.
    • Requires familiarity with transmission design, interconnection processes, basis and congestion studies and RTO/ISO/SPP queue dynamics.
    • Experience wind renewable energy a plus.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CPM scheduling, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Acrobat
    • Superior communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of leading efficiently and outperforming assigned objectives.
    • Familiarity with electric grid analytic software and baseline modeling assumptions
    • Excellent organizational skills demonstrated by clear and effective project plans and executive level reporting that ensure timely action and decision making in time-pressured scenarios.
    • Energy storage knowledge a plus.

    Activities
    • Manages third party special studies for electric transmission system planning, including future grid scenarios, basis, and congestion reports.
    • Conduct interconnection queue analysis to identify project related impacts and strategic queue position strategies to maximize the project sizing and minimize the interconnection cost of projects.
    • Perform acquisition diligence to identify project level interconnection and transmission execution risk.
    • Manage all project queue positions and track interconnection processes, study timing, schedule impact and interconnect requests.
    • Schedule management, financial forecasting, prime contract compliance, progress reporting, customer, and community relations, etc.
    • Negotiate interconnection agreements in each RTO/ISO
    • Track RTO/ISO interconnection stake holder meetings and tariff changes.
    • Support the growth of TotalEnergies UPP and ESS business in the U.S.
    • Accountability for safety and project execution.
    • Managing project interconnection queue positions.
