    Job Description

    Quality Technicians will report directly to the Quality Manager. This position will have primary responsibility for performing inspections using precision measuring equipment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform inspection of product at different states in the manufacturing process using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, indicators, optical comparators, CMM, etc.
    • Ensure all products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications
    • Accurately and legibly document inspection results
    • Compile Certificate of Compliance documentation packages according to customer requirements
    • Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve questions and concerns as they arise
    • Develop and verify CMM programs according to customer specifications
    • Participate in corrective action and gage study activities as requested
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Train others on the operation as requested

    Education and/or Experience

    • 2+ years quality control experience
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
    • ISO 13485 experience preferred

    • Ability to operate precision measuring equipment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong documentation accuracy and legibility
    • Ability to adapt to workload
    • Good observation and time management skills
    • Good organization and communication skills
    • Good Math skills
    • GD&T knowledge
    • Blueprint reading knowledge

    Environmental & Physical Demands

    • Manufacturing environment. May require sitting or standing for long periods of time
    • Occasional exposure to loud noise
    • May require lifting up to 20 lbs
