Job DescriptionThe Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various
electrical/electronic equipment.
Job Core Responsibilities
- Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A610B, Class 3 standard
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited
- Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance
- Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards
- Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Additional job duties and tasks as needed
- Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
- Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor
Education:
Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and
work experience
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment or
completed OJT training for at least 5 products
Skills:
- Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English
- Effective oral and written communication
- Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed
- Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned
- Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun
- Lift and Carry up to 30lbs
- Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol
- Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation
- Capable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing
- Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering
- Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts
- Approximately 90% sitting and 10% standing/walking about indoor Company facilities
- Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and sidetoside
- Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands
- Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf
- Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded
- Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders,
surfaces
Job Type:
Contract
Pay:
$ $18.05 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:

Ability to Relocate:
- Tucson, AZ: Relocate before starting work (required)
