    Frankfort, KY 40601 USA Description The Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA) is committed to meeting or exceeding the needs of our customers.Our focus is on providing low cost financing, through loans and grants, for water and wastewaterinfrastructure projects and on providing an infrastructure planning forum, through the Water ResourceInformation System, for community water and wastewater planning needs. At KIA, we work with local communitiesacross the state and other state agencies to help improve Kentucky's water and wastewater infrastructure.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Support the Executive Director in the management of the Cleaner Water Program grants, budget line itemgrants, and the federal and state loan programs.
  • Assist in communicating with state agencies such as the Division of Water and Public Service Commission,local governments, Area Development Districts, and engineering firms to coordinate financing of and planningfor water and wastewater projects in Kentucky.
  • Develop presentations, manuals or other publications and assist with training to utilities, localgovernments and Area Development Districts or presentations to legislators.
    • Preferred skills:
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently, and ability to see the big picture.
  • Competent in Excel (pivot tables, creating formulas, and charts), Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
    EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Six years of administrative or management experience.
    Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.
    Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional administrative, management, or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.
    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE Working Conditions Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
