    Information, Data, and Process Management Analyst

    The Opportunity:

    As a data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to support a premiere research laboratory focused on cutting-edge scientific discovery and technological innovation, and apply strong expertise in data analysis, data management, metadata management, and data flow operations.

    As a client-facing data analyst on our team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on defense-based cutting-edge research and development (R&D).

    How You'll Contribute:

    As a data analyst on our team, you'll:

    • Identify data dependencies and relationships to develop logical data flow and aid in creating optimal data flow plans for managing enterprise information.
    • Engage with teams to develop a strong understanding of their reporting requirements, data intakes and existing data management protocols, and product needs.
    • Work with customer requirements managers and mission planners to optimize data collection and ensure system integration and deployment requirements are executed IAW customer guidance.
    • Interact with Government and Non-Government stakeholders at all technical and management levels.
    • Represent program requirements at key meetings and leverage knowledge of client systems and performance to ensure accurate reporting and engagement.

    You Have:

    • 8+ years of experience with data management, data engineering, and network systems
    • Experience with leading and integrating into teams in complex, fast-paced, and multi-disciplinary work environments with military personnel and small R&D integration teams of diverse technical expertise
    • Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures
    • Knowledge of database management systems, MS SQL, Oracle, and MySQL
    • Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate the intellectual content of scientific and technological information to both technical and lay audiences quickly and effectively
    • Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS

    Nice If You Have:

    • 12+ years of experience with data management, data engineering, and network systems
    • Experience as a Military Action Officer or Liaison Officer
    • Experience providing analysis and support to defense R&D programs
    • Experience with network engineering
    • Experience managing and executing data management initiatives
    • TS/SCI clearance
    • Master's degree in Engineering or CS

    Clearance:

    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
