We are partnering with our client to assist with their search for a Clinical Psychologist, in San Mateo, CA.

They are looking to grow the team and have hybrid opportunities in the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center, Mood Disorders Center and Autism Center.

Each center offers cutting edge, evidence-based and tailored treatment services to children, adolescents, and young adults suffering from a wide range of mental health and learning disorders.


Our client is an independent, national nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders.

They offer online or in-person, gold-standard, evidence-based care for those struggling with mental health and learning disorders. When they help children, teens and young adults, it benefits the whole family.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and evidencebased treatment to children and adolescents
  • Conduct familybased interventions with parents and other family members and maintain collateral contacts with educators and other providers
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and our boardcertified child and adolescent psychiatrists on cases requiring pharmacotherapy
  • Provide clinical supervision to trainees
  • Conduct workshops, presentations, and webinars on children's mental health topics for community outreach

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited program
  • Must have a current, valid, unrestricted license to practice psychology in California, or be in the process of obtaining that license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups
  • Flexible thinking with the ability to work with challenging cases in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following evidencebased treatments and evaluation tools
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) (strongly preferred)
  • Behavioral parent training interventions such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent Management Training (PMT), Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
  • Radically Open DBT
  • Exposure and response prevention (ERP)
  • Traumafocused CBT
  • Mindfulnessbased interventions
  • Semistructured evaluation tools (ADI-R, ADOS2, Kiddie-SADS)
The anticipated salary range for this position is $117, ,000 annually. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.


Pay:
$117, $146,000.00 per year
