- Perform painting, staining, and drywall repair tasks.
- Maintain and upkeep guestrooms, meeting spaces, and public areas including ceilings, walls, moldings, trim, baseboards, and doors.
- Repair and maintain various hardware, plumbing, electrical, HVAC equipment, and cosmetic items.
- Monitor fire alarm/life safety systems and respond during emergencies to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.
- Clean, lubricate, protect, and maintain all hotel tools and equipment.
- Work to create an accident-free and safe work environment, following established safety protocols.
- Log activities and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Provide training and technical advice to other engineers as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- Previous experience with painting and maintenance preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
