Full-time Temporary Position (1-year contract with potential for renewal)


Job Overview:

We conduct research and develop high-impact anti-aging treatments.

The Research Assistant (Cell Biology) will support the principal research scientist in executing our projects of cell-based rejuvenation treatment development.

Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of the lead scientists in R&D projects
• In vitro experiments on human fibroblast, and neuronal cell culture, reprogramming, differentiation, and assay development using the stem cell derivatives
• Assist with and perform other experiments as required. Conduct routine lab duties as assigned
• Work with the existing team to support and build on current efforts, and also have the opportunity to participate in the creation of new initiatives in strategically targeted areas

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Pharmacology or a related field
• Minimum of three years of laboratory experience
• Proficiency in in vitro cell culture techniques
• Strong experience with virus transduction, immunochemistry, RNA extraction, and Real-Time PCR is highly desired
• Highly motivated, hardworking, and curious individual with the ability to think innovatively about difficult research problems
• Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks from routine to those which require independent thought and analysis
• Ability to solve immediate problems, learn quickly, and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
• Strong attention to detail, organized, strong time management skills with the capacity to meet deadlines
• Flexibility and ability to respond to changing priorities and project directions
• Willingness to work on weekends or holidays when necessary, due to the demands of working with live cells.

$67, $80,000.00 per year
