Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to support our growing team at our Glendale, New York location.

As an essential member of our Human Resources department, the HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.


Responsibilities:


  • Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding HRrelated inquiries, providing guidance and assistance on policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, and serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers.
  • Coordinate training and development activities, including identifying training needs, scheduling sessions, and evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially, conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that align with organizational objectives and values.

Requirements:


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the transportation or hospitality industry.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
