Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Safety Engineer to perform safety assessments according to the CSM-RA regulation, evaluate evidence for the functional safety of railway vehicles (EN 50126), conduct testing of vehicles in normal and failure modes, assess requirements of the TSI LOC&PAS, and participate in technical discussions with national and international clients.

The role also involves project management and communication with clients. Optional responsibilities may include evaluating safety evidence for electronic control systems (EN 50129), assessing application-specific software for vehicle control systems (EN 50657), and analyzing cybersecurity assets in the rail vehicle sector (TS

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Railway Vehicle Technology, Technical Informatics, or a related engineering field
Previous experience as a safety engineer, system engineer, electronic control system or software developer, validator, or similar role in the rail vehicle industry
Knowledge of risk management (safety or security) is desirable
Familiarity with relevant functional safety methodologies (FMEA, FMECA, FMEDA, FTA, etc.) is preferred
Willingness to learn new topics and technologies
Experience in OT cybersecurity is advantageous
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (1020%)
Strong communication skills and a confident demeanor.
