- Develop new business, retain existing accounts, and minimize customer attrition to drive profitable sales growth and meet assigned objectives within the designated territory.
- Identify and qualify prospects in line with company account segmentation strategies.
- Understand customer requirements and offer tailored product and service solutions to meet their needs.
- Stay informed about market trends, recommend products based on customer needs, and share insights on competitors' offerings with customers to enhance value-added services.
- Address customer inquiries regarding product details, pricing, availability, and usage.
- Provide product information and training to customer staff as needed.
- Visit customer locations, attend events, and company meetings using personal transportation.
- Assist with accounts receivable collection, coordinating with the credit department as required to ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate deliveries based on the transportation schedule, resolving any issues that arise during order processing (e.g., out-of-stock items, special orders, low inventory).
- Participate in promotional activities, customer meetings, and sales events.
- Attend general sales and district meetings regularly.
- Engage in ongoing training sessions and support training for new staff members.
- Analyze daily and weekly reports on special orders, customer bids, and sales performance to inform decision-making.
- Handle administrative tasks like preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining records, processing credits, and managing sales documentation.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B sales, or outside sales, or an equivalent relevant role.
- Bilingual proficiency
- Previous experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or as a Chef
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no multiple DUIs in the last 2 years)
- Current automobile insurance meeting specified liability limits
- Agree to pre-employment screening (Drug Test, Background Check).
- Accept and sign the Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified territory vicinity.
