    Description
    Monitors progress of and intervenes in the course of chronic illnesses, using ODRC policies and protocols for guidancePerforms routine physical exams of patients to determine control or status of chronic conditions & diagnoses new conditionsExamines, diagnoses & treats patients within scope of practice, as identified by the State of Ohio Nursing Board, as applicableConducts rounds on infirmary patients as deemed appropriate by the CMOWrites up medical information gathered during patient interviews according to ODRC Office of Correctional Healthcare guidelines, policies, protocols & related American Correctional Association standards currently in practice, documenting all assessments & diagnostic impressions, as well as any other treatment plans & follow-up parametersCooperates with CMO medical quality oversight & accept suggestions, redirection, and guidance
