    Description

    We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will review electronic medical records via a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical examinations for each Veteran.

    You will accurately document the examination findings required by the VA through the web portal.

    The Nurse Practitioner is not responsible for making disability determinations; this is handled by the United States Veterans Administration.

    This role specifically focuses on performing Disability Assessments on Veterans. Treatment and medication prescription are not part of this position.

    On average, this position involves conducting Disability Assessments for 3-5 Veterans per day.

    Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8am-4pm)

    This is an IN-PERSON position.

    Key Attributes:

    • Passion for conducting Independent Medical Assessments
    • Ability to analyze data from medical records and examination findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
    • Strong time management skills to meet requirements efficiently
    • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license is a must
    • Proficient computer skills are essential
