Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Manager, Regional Sales is to support the sale of Accutron equipment through the dealer network in partnership with Professional Sales Associates (PSA) and in partnership with HuFriedyGroup (HFG) Regional Account Manager team, drive new business for Accutron products including but not limited to nasal hoods, equipment, etc. This is to be accomplished by working closely with the Strategic Business Units, HFG sales leadership, and PSA representatives and leadership.
This position also manages and reviews the territory performance for all PSA reps while developing dealer programs to enhance market share penetration and achieve annual sales objectives. The individual in this role designs and recommends sales programs/proposals that address both short and long-term sales strategies.
This is a remote based customer facing position. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following states: Arizona.
Duties
- Leads and coordinates dealer equipment training at Accutron or virtually via the support of PSA sales team. In partnership with PSA and the SBU, work to develop new trainings focused on service and support for dealers while also enhancing current sales trainings.
- Partner with the SBU's, Director of Corporate Accounts, and PSA to develop new sales programs, dealer trainings, incentives, and more to help grow the business with a focus on taking market share.
- Coordinates and manages all dealer and PSA order escalations with the support of Operations and Customer Care.
- Manages communication to all Dealer partners and PSA for Accutron Equipment. This includes promotions, updates, rebate status, etc. Also ensures all international dealers are supported accordingly (in partnership with SBU).
- Develops a business plan with specific growth goals to lay-out a plan for desired performance results. Communicates any issues with Director of Corporate accounts and PSA leadership.
- Manages the annual expense budget for Conscious Sedation (together with Director of Corporate Accounts). This includes tradeshows, travel, tech managers, etc.
- Directs the partnership and collaboration of PSA with the Clinical Education Managers and Regional Account Managers to optimize leads and opportunities.
- Oversees the Technical & Sales Support Managers to ensure their performance is providing the correct level of support that our dealers and PSA reps need. Includes Techs in training opportunities with dealers and PSA when relevant and with any new product developments (e.g. chairmounts)
- Conducts quarterly or monthly performance reviews with PSA leadership (invoiced/sales orders) by dealer, etc. Ensure PSA is provided all needed reports.
- Completes all other duties as assigned in alignment with Steris (HuFriedyGroup) policies and procedures.
Required Experience
- Bachelors degree
- Proven track record of success in coaching and leadership as detailed above.
- Minimum of 5-7 years sales and/or marketing experience; sales management experience a plus (preferably in the dental or medical field).
- Distribution sales channel experience recommended, but not required if above is met.
- Experience with CRM based management system, and Daily Management/Funnel Management Experience required. (SalesForce recommended)
- Intermediate computer skills: CRM, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email systems.
- Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the time domestically. Person is willing and able to travel by air on commercial airlines, as well as by taxi, train, and bus.
- Also, must occasionally work weekends at conventions/continuing education events.
- Must have strong interpersonal relationship experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player with an excellent work ethic.
- Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements.
