Job Description

Job Summary: We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance technician with mechanical experience working in a manufacturing environment. This position is a hands-on job and is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and all production and facility equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment and provides the appropriate corrective actions.

Performs regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and upgrades at the facility
Proactively detects problems and completes necessary repair.
Provides direction to external contractors/vendors performing building maintenance.
Assists in other general maintenance activities including machine calibration and safety team activities.
Performs all duties safely and according to proper standards. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
Identifies opportunities for improvement
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
All other duties as assigned

Essential Skills:

Several years' experience in maintenance or facility maintenance
Previous electrical work in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred.
Familiar with mechanical systems in an industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical manuals
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with safe working practices at all times
Assist in identifying opportunities for improvements
Ability to work Independently
Must have a state valid driver's license
Waste water experience a plus
