Certified Nursing Assistant | Non-Certified Nursing Assistant provides care for patients with various needs including taking vital signs temperature pulse respiration rates blood pressures weights heights and intake output measurements assisting with ADLs specified technical tasks ambulating transporting patients providing morning or evening care emptying drains canisters urine bags bedpans emesis basins recording intake output maintaining safe environment reporting equipment issues performing ROM tasks rotating restocking lab-draw supplies answering patient call lights responding to requests documenting patient records gathering equipment checking O2 function setting up suction equipment ambulating patients with oxygen.
