UAV Repair Specialist (m/f/d) at Overlea


As a UAV repair specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Repair & Maintenance team, ensuring that the department is up to date with repairs and documentation. Working with our world-class team of 4 members, you will have a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from R&D, Production, Product Engineering, Testing, and Prototyping, acting as a point of contact and interface. With your craftsmanship and attention to detail, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to become the benchmark for aerial data acquisition solutions with unmanned aerial vehicles (sUAVs).

What is your day-to-day mission:
  • Performing maintenance and repair work on UAVs.
  • Inspecting, analyzing, and troubleshooting (fine) mechanical and electronic components.
  • Creating accompanying repair and maintenance reports.
  • Developing and optimizing instructions for maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Working closely with the research and development team to develop and optimize testing procedures for the refurbishment of electronic components.
  • Optimizing and updating existing documentation and creating new technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, repair manuals, and user guides.
