What you will do:
- Inspect work in process and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned trade/craft workers
- Study schedules and estimate workerhour requirements for successful project completion
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of installation
- Review and release ColonialWebb Shop Drawings and Spool Drawings for timely field installation
- Teach, coach and guide teammates to ensure that they work safely and productively
- Ensure appropriate teammates are participating in hazard reporting; audit 5 x 5s and pretask plans for compliance; hold teammates accountable for these actions
- Monitor and control manpower and tools to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and provide oversight of inventory activities
- Review weekly report of costs incurred; identify possible costsaving opportunities
What we are looking for:
- Prefer at least 5 years' industry experience, including supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of International Codes and general HVAC and plumbing systems
- Possess OSHA 30hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred not required)
- Extensive experience in handling personnel issues
- Excellent mechanical, administrative and analytical skills
- Ability to use current technology (i.e., computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, BIM)
