Associate Technology Analyst

Job Purpose:

The Associate Technology Analyst is part of the Information Technology & Solutions team, delivering information technology strategy, support, and solutions.

This role is responsible for escalations on support requests and sometimes first contact with users needing technical support, providing customer service, creating support requests, resolving problems through research, and desk-side support.

Performs training services as needed.

This is a non-exempt position reporting to the Supervisor of Technology Support.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Must be selfdirected and competent to complete tasks with mínimal supervision.
  • Provide technical support to end users remotely and at the desk side.
  • Enter requests, updates, and resolutions into the ticketing system accurately and according to established processes.
  • Support OS, Security, Application, and Hardware issues.
  • Perform necessary account updates and other administrative functions as assigned.
  • Help to maintain IT inventory.
  • Create enduser documentation and deliver training.
  • Observes and respects the confidentiality of information regarding patients, visitors, and coworkers' employees, including salary information, if exposed to any of the abovereferenced information during his/her job function.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma (required)
  • Associate level associate degree (or two years postsecondary education) in a related field and/or 35 years IT experience
  • Senior level bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5 years IT experience
  • Certifications such as ITIL, A+, MCSA, CCNA, Network+, etc. are a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of PC laptop and hardware
  • Experience managing workload based on metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across various personality types.
  • Excellent selfmanagement and teaching abilities
  • Strong technical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms and effectively influence peers and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated selfdevelopment skills and ability to follow directions and work independently.
  • Must have experience in the support of desktop hardware, software, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
