Location:

This is an in office, on-site position. Work from home is not supported for this role.


Schedule:

3-12 hour shifts.

Daytime, overnight, and weekend availability is a must.


Compensation:

$24 per hour while in training.

$25 per hour after training.

$2 shift differential for overnight shifts


II. Basic Function


Trinity Air Medical (TAM) is a 24/7 operation that provides a critical service to the organ donation and transplantation community.

The role of the coordinator is critical in ensuring the organization's ability to carry out its mission in service to Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO's) and Transplant Centers.

The role of Logistics Coordinator I at Trinity Air Medical (TAM) is responsible for the day to day logístical operations required by its customers.


III. Essential Functions
A. The Logistics Coordinator I serves in a 12 hour shift capacity to provide 24/7 operational coverage.

This role is responsible for taking calls from clients to arrange logístical services including air and ground transportation for both OPO's and Transplant Centers to transport medical teams, organs, or specimens as needed.

B.

The Logistics Coordinator I will also be required to complete job functions of a TAM Driver, including Medical Team pick up, Organ Pick Up/Drop off, Medical Specimen or Equipment runs, and other assigned driving duties upon request.

C.

Oversees the day to day flow of work for TAM and third party drivers to ensure customer expectations are met.

E. Builds and maintains relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure a high level of customer and partner satisfaction.

F. Demonstrates an ability to make effective decisions.

G. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to critically problem solve.

H. Adheres to all policies and procedures to ensure a high level of service.

I. Adheres to all documentation requirements for TAM customers.

J. Participates in ongoing training and development.

K. Must develop a basic understanding of OPO and transplant center language as well as aviation and ground language.

L. Regular attendance at departmental meetings is required.

M. Demonstrates TAM core values at all times.

N. Represents TAM brand in a positive manner in all external communications.

O. Contribute to the success and performance of the team and organization by achieving key performance metrics.

P. Proficient in computer software programs including Microsoft and data entry.

Q. Perform other duties as assigned.


IV. Qualifications

A. Education/Experience

Minimum 2-4 years experience in related fields:

  • Logistics, Aviation, Transportation, Healthcare Management, Organ Donation Industry

B. Skills/Aptitudes

  • Knowledge of TAM policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to donation and transplantation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must display integrity, initiative, perseverance, flexibility, teamwork, empathy, and persuasiveness.
  • Must be able to critically think through all aspects of the dispatch process and make decisions in the best interests of both TAM as well as our Partners
  • Must be very organized and able to coordinate projects.
  • Must have excellent administrative skills such as completing paperwork, reports, and other projects in a timely manner.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Arizona Driver's license.
  • Requires the ability to work under stress with numerous interruptions, distractions and changing priorities.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of medical teams.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position, therefore, the applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screen test.

C. Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Must have command of the English language and be able to speak clearly to convey information to business contacts and other TAM employees over the phone, in person, and in written communication.
  • Requires the ability to work under stress with numerous interruptions, distractions, and changing priorities.
  • Must be proficient and safe driver with a clean Arizona driving record and license.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must be able to sit for at least 12 hours a day.

Pay:
$25.00 per hour
