Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes, washes pots
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with inventory, cashiering, customer service, recordkeeping and computers are required.
-Suffolk County Food Manager's Certificate preferred:
- Prior experience in the food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
