The city of Iserlohn is currently seeking a
clerk (m/f/d) for the Department of Foreigners Office to start as soon as possible.

Iserlohn, with around 1,800 employees, is not only one of the largest employers in the Märkischer Kreis, but also the oldest city historically.

This is due to the translation of the name "Iserlohn" as "Iron Forest" and the fact that it has a forest area of 1,230 hectares within its city limits.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing of asylum and refugee law
  • Registration of refugees
  • Preparation, organization and implementation of measures for the termination of residence for persons obliged to leave (repatriation)
  • Procurement of replacement travel documents
  • Conducting field appointments
  • Processing of residence matters issuance of residence permits
  • Verification of individuals obligated to participate in integration courses

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a public administration specialist or equivalent
  • Alternatively:
  • Completed training for the civil service, group 1, 2nd entry level (formerly middle nontechnical service), specializing in municipal
