Description
Responsibilities:
- Be able to read instructions and follow a procedure.
- Be able to accurately describe the content of a prescription to ensure the accuracy of prescriptions.
- Be able to communicate with patients, doctors and other pharmacy workers.
- Prepare and sort bottles and packages that have been filled with drugs or other substances.
- Monitor inventory control systems to track the movement of supplies.
- Conduct routine cleaning tasks
Qualifications/Experience:
- High school or equivalent
- Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Pharmacy Tech Certification & NJ State Registration
- US Work authorization (preferred)
- Micro Merchant System Software experience preferred but not required
Language:
- English, Spanish (preferred)
