    SummaryPrimarily TIG welds light gauge stainless steel, but will also be required to work with other materials like cold rolled steel, galvanized steel, aluminum etc.

    Must be qualified for occasional heavy metal TIG, and some MIG, Plasma cutting, and/or gas welding.
    Essential Functions

    • Perform quality inspections and audits in a variety of business situations from manufacturing to office operations.
    • Collect, analyze, and report on data pertinent to the quality of the product or service.
    • Plan, organize and implement for statistical process control.
    • Participate in problem solving corrective action and preventative action tasks.
    • As assigned, perform as Calibration, CMM and/or Test Technician.
    • As assigned, perform Incoming Purchase Part InspectionKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Maintains accurate count of processed parts
    • Daily housekeeping in assigned work areas
    • Completes written log on work done, hours spent, and number of parts produced
    • Ensures that the parts they process are to specification and meet all known quality requirements before and after they complete their process steps
    • Report any safety, quality, and waste issues to their immediate supervisor
    • Other duties as assignedEducation and Experience
    • High School or GED level education is preferred
    • Equivalent experience in assigned trade/vocation can be substituted for educational minimums
    • Minimum 3 years' experience setting up, operating and programming press brake, Laser and/or turret punching machines is a plus
