- Receive oral and written work orders and reviewed to determine type of project and general personnel skills to be used.
- Plan project work schedules and place orders for necessary material and equipment to perform project.
- Understand and follow safe work practices at all times.
- Recognize and use general-purpose hand tools.
- Operate heavy equipment.
- To perform heavy work, exerting 100 pounds of force occasionally and 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- To work for extended periods of time in a uncontrolled environment and be exposed to very hot or cold temperatures, high levels of noise and vibration, smoke, dust and other hazards.
- Responsible for the safe condition of all electrical systems in school system.
- Ability to maintain proper electrical certifications.
- To perform work on Fire Alarm systems
- To perform work on intercoms systems
- To perform work on security systems
- Perform such other duties as required by supervisor.
