Job DescriptionA growing women's advanced contemporary brand is seeking a Knitwear Designer. The Knitwear Designer will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Designer across day-to-day tasks and seasonal projects. Responsibilities include conducting research to develop seasonal design concepts, gathering trends and vintage inspiration, curating mood boards, and refining sketches using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Additionally, participation in fittings and compiling design data for Tech Packs is essential. Collaboration with various departments ensures timely project completion, while staying informed about sales dynamics and trends is paramount. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5+ years of elevated women's cut & sew and sweaters.
In office full time
Requirements
-3-5+ years of design and hand sketching experience specifically in cut & sew and sweaters.
Bachelor's Degree in Design or Fashion Design.
Proficiency in tech pack creation.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Familiarity with contemporary and/or luxury women's fashion and market trends.
Strong team player with the capacity to work independently.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
