Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Route Driver to join our team. The Route Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations along designated routes.


Duties:

• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks and tractortrailers, to transport goods
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual methods
• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Perform pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transport
• Handle paperwork, such as delivery confirmations and logs

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Route Driver or similar role
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Familiarity with courier or delivery driver responsibilities
• Knowledge of loading/unloading techniques and safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
• Experience with driving various vehicles like box trucks, tractortrailers, or forklifts is a plus
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving moving, lifting, and driving
