Clayton Services is searching for a Business Analyst to join a thriving company in Austin (Westlake area), Texas. The Business Analyst will assist the Managing Director in various real estate business activities, prioritizing the owner's financial interests and ensuring the security of financial assets.

Job Type: Direct-Hire
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $85,000/annually - discretionary quarterly bonuses.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify trends, demographics, and demand-supply dynamics in specific geographic areas or property types.
Analyze sales data, rental rates, vacancy rates, and economic indicators to assess market conditions.
Evaluate the financial feasibility and potential returns of real estate investments or development projects.
Identify and assess risks associated with real estate investments or projects, such as market, regulatory, construction, and financial risks.
Conducting due diligence on potential real estate acquisitions or investments, including reviewing property documents, leases, and financial statements, and conducting site inspections to evaluate the property's condition and potential.
Prepare reports, presentations, and investment memos to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to clients, investors, and senior management.
Provide analytical support and recommendations to help stakeholders make informed decisions regarding real estate investments, development projects, asset management strategies, and property acquisitions or dispositions.
Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and economic indicators to anticipate future opportunities and challenges in the real estate market.

Business Analyst Skills and Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to analyzing data.
Ability to identify challenges, propose creative solutions, and make informed decisions in complex real estate investment scenarios.
Ability to collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.
Proficient in using software tools and technology platforms for data analysis, financial modeling, and presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as financial modeling software.

Business Analyst Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
3+ years of Business Analyst experience.
Previous real estate experience or knowledge is highly preferred.
