- 8+ years of experience testing web & mobile applications, at least 2+ years of experience in test engineering management, leading teams of test engineers.
- Experience with automated test tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of QA best practices and the ability to create processes to drive quality in a product.
- Proficiency in building maintainable and efficient tests using Java-based and JavaScript tools like Selenium, WebDriverIO, and JUnit.
- Must have experience with API Automation testing.
- Programming experience with Java or other object-oriented languages.
- Comfortable working with a cross-functional team of developers and quality engineers to develop innovative automated testing solutions.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Self-starter who can take on and delegate tasks and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Linux, SQL, performance tools, bash scripts, and version control systems such as Git is a plus.

About the Role
The Glassdoor Test Engineering team is looking for a passionate, skilled, and driven Test Engineering Manager (SDET) to build optimized test automation solutions and manage test Engineering team members. You will work with the team to define goals and roadmaps to achieve quality benchmarks. We are seeking a candidate who is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, capable of wearing multiple hats, adapting quickly to change, and eager to learn new technologies as needed. This role demands working in a multi-functional, collaborative environment, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are crucial. The ability to prioritize, multitask, manage a team effectively, and deliver results is paramount.
What You'll Do
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range*: $140,400 - $210,600 ++
*Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
Annual Bonus Target: 10%
**Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviews
