The Atlantic Council's Millennium Leadership Program (MLP) cultivates a new generation of connected and empowered global leaders to tackle unprecedented global challenges.

Our team develops and implements leadership programs with unique international convenings spanning from Guatemala to Taiwan and beyond.

We work with global rising stars from private, public, and government sectors through our three programmatic pillars:
leadership, community, and impact.


Currently, the MLP runs the Millennium Fellowship Program, launching the new Executive Leadership Intensive, co-leads Young Global Professional Program in partnership with the HR team, and is looking to launch several short-term leadership programs in 2024/25.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the administrative side of the Program, including data tracking and management for applicants, scheduling, production of program materials, and coordinating meetings and program activities.
  • Handle an array of logĂ­stical coordination for the Program's events and activities, including study tours, retreats, trainings, and other inperson and virtual elements.
  • Support curation and management of content for Program's website and social media platforms, including publication process for the longform pieces.
  • Write proposals and promotional materials.
  • Participate in the monitoring and evaluation process, including creation of surveys, simple data analytics and metrics tracking.
  • Take notes at team meetings and other events.
  • Graduate student or a recent college graduate, preferably majoring in political science/international affairs, public policy, communications, international education, or another relevant field.
  • Demonstrated interest in international affairs with a focus on foreign policy, communications, international education/exchange, or similar.
  • Stellar interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to identify and work through challenges independently.
  • Aptitude and strong skills in research and writing.
  • Strong analytical, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Poise and professionalism in a team environment with colleagues and counterparts in the United States and abroad.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to work fulltime (40 hours per week) in the office.
