Company Overview
Little Sky Bakery began with our founder making sourdough bread out of a single dutch oven.
Since then we have expanded to baking a variety of naturally leavened breads, baked goods and sweets serving more than 30 farmer's markets and pop-ups throughout the Bay Area.
We are a group of straight-forward, passionate and dedicated people, and are looking for similar-spirited people to join our team.
ROLE:
This is an important management role responsible for the successful operations for our farmers' markets, catering and bakery business lines.
This role will oversee Little Sky's established bakery business, focused primarily on the farmer's market operations and bakery product lines.
The person in this role will be tasked with improving upon existing systems and growing sales in this business line.
They will report directly to the Head of Operations and work closely with the Executive Chef.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage operations and logistics for farmers' markets, and deliveries/catering business, including ensuring correct product pars for each location, overseeing appropriate merchandising and directing product movement between locations to maximize sales.
- Work closely with the BOH teams to track product needs, provide the necessary data for production planning and organize drivers for deliveries to all locations.
- Oversee scheduling and training for the farmer's markets employees, the market drivers and the LSB and LSK teams.
- Field and resolve all incoming customer service inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure all operational and customer service standards are met on a daily basis by closely monitoring the set up and staff interactions at all farmer's market and bakery outlets.
- Improve performance of farmers' markets by innovating on product display and allocation as well as sales strategies and employee training.
- Build and oversee processes and systems to support smooth operations and growth, including the maintenance of market materials and equipment, daily checklists, assessments, and training documents.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for food, people and operations.
- 13 years of management and leadership experience in a foodservice environment.
- Excellent communication skills, resilient and an organized, strategic, critical thinker mindset.
SALARY
- $66,000 to $75,000 per year
Pay:
$66, $75,000.00 per year
