The Yoga & Health Wellness Instructor develops high quality instruction for guests, enriching their resort experience. The person who holds this position will project a healthy image and a patient, understanding attitude.

The Yoga Instructor will be passionate about teaching wellness, lead participants through exercises that improve well being, flexibility, muscle tone, strength, posture, and breathing.

What you will do (includes but not limited to):

You will greet guests upon arrival in a friendly, professional manner, encourage participation in classes, develop, implement, and conduct classes with patience, tact, and enthusiasm.

Promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Create and conduct yoga and health wellness activities with the understanding guests have varying levels of abilities. Lead participants through yoga sequences, provide direction regarding correct form, maintain yoga, first aid/cpr certifications. Report safety concerns and unusual circumstances, both verbally and in writing, in a timely manner. Quickly respond to any guest issues being mindful that guests and team members will witness your interactions and conduct.

Qualities and characteristics of a successful resort Yoga & Health Wellness Instructor include projecting a friendly, energetic, motivated image.

Minimum requirements include speaking and understanding English; first aid/CPR certified.

Skills and abilities include the ability to remain focused in a hectic environment and the ability to provide effective, professional communication.

Minimum required education:
high school diploma/GED

Minimum required experience: 1-2 years preferred

Physical elements include extreme physical demand; exert consistent force all shift; extended periods on feet; lift/carry/move objects; various noise/temperature levels.
