Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a (Senior) Cloud Engineer in the field of critical infrastructure at our location in Bonn.

Your responsibilities
Design, implementation and operation of private cloud infrastructures with high security levels
Securing the technology stack through security measures and hardening
Monitoring of managed services to ensure agreed system availability and proactive troubleshooting and prevention
Creation and implementation of best practice guidelines in your area of responsibility
Provision and customization of environments for testing and integrating new or updated products and technologies
Automation of all tasks using orchestration and configuration tools
Ensuring stable and uninterrupted system operation
Your profile
Successfully completed IT training, such as a degree in computer science or comparable professional experience
Experience with secure virtualized infrastructures and common virtualization solutions, as well as good knowledge of cloud technologies, Kubernetes and OpenStack
Practical experience in provisioning and operating Linux systems
Demonstrable use of automation and IaC tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform)
Experience in regulated environments and with relevant certifications (e.g. ISO 27001, BSI C5 or similar) desirable
Team spirit, openness to new technologies and projects, and a passion for using open source tools.
