The use of mechatronics technicians is broad and cross-industry. They work in the assembly and maintenance of complex machines, systems and equipment, for example in plant and mechanical engineering or with customers and operators of mechanical systems.

Mechatronics technicians often work in teams. They coordinate their work with upstream and downstream areas and are considered electrical specialists in terms of accident prevention regulations.

Secondary school / advanced secondary school leaving certificate / high school diploma / technical college entrance qualification
