    Essential Functions:

    • This role involves advanced mechanical tasks. You will be responsible for independent decision-making in complex work scenarios.
    • Execute a full spectrum of servicing and repairs on diverse equipment types, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company schedules.
    • Provide guidance and oversight to less experienced mechanics.
    • Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
    • Identify mechanical issues visually or using diagnostic equipment.
    • Maintain accurate records of job time, materials used, equipment condition, and repairs performed.
    • Enter information into computer software, ensuring completeness and accuracy of repair orders and timesheets.
    • Conduct safety inspections on equipment and prepare safety documentation.
    • Comply with relevant regulations such as DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other mandatory rules.
    • Participate in training programs to update safety skills and knowledge, including hazardous material training.
    • Maintain regular attendance.
    • Undertake other assigned duties.
    • Perform essential job functions in locations designated by the Company.
    • Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and industry-specific professional standards.

    About You:

    Qualifications:

    • Completion of a vocational/technical program or apprenticeship related to vehicle and equipment repair with four years of experience OR five years of experience in heavy truck, automotive, or equipment repair. Equivalency from trade/technical school can contribute to meeting this requirement.
    • Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment daily with valid licensing.
    • Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
    • High School Diploma preferred but not mandatory.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Reliability and strong work ethic.
    • Effective teamwork skills for collaboration with colleagues.
    • Proficient communication skills for interactions with peers, reading instructions, and maintaining logs accurately.
    • Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
    • Experience with mechanical tools, materials, and testing equipment.
    • Familiarity with vehicle and equipment design, operation, adjustment, maintenance, and repair.
    • Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Performing repairs and inspections involves reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling.
    • Lifting requirements include exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
    • Work environments vary from indoor shared workspaces to outdoor settings in different weather conditions.
    • Potential exposure to physical hazards and vibrations.

    • Salary Range: $58,240 - $70,720 per year, commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Salary adjustments are possible based on candidate qualifications. Remote work options available for non-field roles depending on performance.
