    JOB SUMMARY: This position supports the VP Controller and as a team they ensure reliable accounting processes across multiple business units and produce timely and accurate financial reports for management. This position also requires interaction with department leaders and managers to generate and maintain budgets and overall financial controls.

    Assist the Controller with:

    • The financial affairs of the organization and with the preparation of financial analyses of operations.
    • Providing accurate accounting and reporting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
    • Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
    • Develop and issue timely monthly financial records for Management.
    • Managing the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections and payroll.
    • Preparing budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
    • Continue development on newly implemented financial reporting, budgeting, and planning tool.
    • Monitors and confirms financial condition by reviewing SOX audit controls and interface with internal and external auditors.
    • Collaborating with the IT department to maintain financial records, system processes, and develop/refine reporting tools.
    • Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
    • Strong financial acumen & significant analytical and supervisory skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication, and prioritization skills.
    • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with various teams to enhance/develop processes.
    • 5+ years of experience in accounting, time in manufacturing a plus.
    • Limited domestic travel.
