"Our system administrators (in-house service) in the IT infrastructure deal with both traditional and modern topics. This includes maintaining classic virtual in-house servers, as well as current topics such as cloud services from SaaS to IaaS.

Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting the functionality of our IT systems
  • Automating recurring system administration tasks
  • Managing and developing our heterogeneous IT environment (VMware, Windows, Linux, cloud and onpremises)
  • Supporting network administration (analyzing errors in the system landscape using various monitoring solutions)
  • Close collaboration with external partners and support in implementing futureoriented IT projects
  • Updating hardware and software
  • Managing roles and permission concepts
  • Backup management of server systems

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training (e.g. IT specialist, IT system administrator) or relevant work experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in system administration
  • Knowledge of server administration (Windows and/or Linux)
  • Automation is not a foreign concept to you and documentation is an integral part of your work style
  • Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python), as well as CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins, Puppet
