MUST BE BILINGUAL
ENGLISH/SPANISH AND HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION AS SERVICES ARE BOTH IN THE OFFICE AND COMMUNITY.

The primary duties will include interpretation of family therapy sessions, individual treatment plans, and quarterly surveys for our non-Spanish speaking therapists.

Additional verbal interpretation can be provided during family advocacy and support, brief crisis intervention or unusual incidents.

Other duties are attending the monthly FSW staff meetings and submitting weekly and monthly reports generated from our EHR system; a monthly invoice will also need to be submitted.

The Family Support Worker
MUST ALWAYS adhere to the practice standards and ethical guidelines of the Board for Social Work.

TASKS:

Provide verbal interpretation for Non-Spanish speaking Therapists during family sessions.
Administer Quarterly Consumer Satisfaction Surveys.
Assist families in translation of their treatment plans and changes in clients' status.
Translate client progress to Therapist according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
Identify environmental impediments to therapist, client or elaborate on patient progress.

Undertakes other duties as assigned.

Pay is on a monthly basis (last day of each month). This is a contractual position and hours can be flexible to your schedule. For example, you determine the days/hours you want to work, however, this must remain consistent each week.

You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year as no taxes are taken out of your check.
