Personnel Security Specialist

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional office environment or customer service.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Exceptional organizational/administrative skills and the ability to work independently with great attention to detail.
Ability to correspond and interact effectively with good customer service attitude both written and orally.
Possess a high level of personal integrity and the ability to handle sensitive information.
Willingness to learn and be trained, but also takes initiative.
Personnel Security Specialist Responsibilities:
Provide industrial security support and prepare deliverables to Global Solutions (GSI) customers and internal office departments/functions.
Learn about or already understand the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and gain experience with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
Work in various government systems including DISS/NBIS, NISS, SWFT, ACCS, and e-APP to ensure accuracy of information and updated.
Administer visit requests (VARs/VALs), initial / re-investigations, annual self-inspections, review and comprehend DD-254s, administer SF-312s, review and submit SF-86s, and other security needs per customer.
Maintain personnel security files and customer documentation as required to support DCSA requirements and periodic assessments
Provide guidance and instruction to customer employees and / or contractors to ensure accurate completion of required security paperwork and training in a timely manner.
Establish and maintain a working relationship with DCSA and / or other security offices in filing necessary clearance paperwork and reports for customers.
Pay:
$45, $65,000.00 per year
