X-ray certification - with the ability to take diagnostic digital x-rays2. Coronal polishing certification3. Knowledge of infection control and emergency response procedures4. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills5. Knowledge of Eaglesoft dental software (preferred but not required)Primary Responsibilities1. Work side by side with a designated dental hygienist to provide exceptional patient care2. Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in all tasks and responsibilities to aid the hygiene department3.

Review hygiene charts and work with the front office to assure all patient care is correct and properly treatment planned4.

Assist in updating the medical history for each patient and input any changes to medications into the computer software5. Take diagnostic digital x-rays, and necessary photos6. Be efficient in breaking down, disinfecting, and setting up hygiene rooms with proper infection control7. Properly communicates to keep the doctor on top of hygiene exams8. Follow office protocols in writing up treatment plans, reviewing consent forms, and entering referrals for patients when necessary9.

Strong time management skills; the ability to multi-task and establish priorities, to manage one's own time and the time of others for efficient flow of work in the clinical department10.

Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment; maintaining a flexible attitude and approach towards assignments
