Description
Be aware of and enforce the DHEC regulations- Uphold and enforce all Brookstone Terrace Policies & Procedures
- Be aware and enforce food safety guidelines
- Be aware of both communities' schedulescover or get nonovertime coverage of all calloff
- Communicationdo not put anything (new policy/procedure) into place prior to talking to the ED
- INSPECT WHAT YOU EXPECT
- When an issue with an employee happensprovide a private setting alwaysalways have a witness. Smile use positive reinforcementthese are teaching moments
- Weekly orderingputting it in the computer, and ensuring we stay within budget. $8.50 a day per residentMust be aware of what each community census is.
- On call 24/7 this position is to always answer the phone. (Unless on scheduled PTO)
- Ensure that each communities Kitchen is well staffed
- Ensure that staff is trained to the BST standards
- Daily rounds several times a daycleanliness of the communities are all managers responsibility
- Be at the communities at different times to see how each meal flowsthis position doesn't have a schedule but also can't just work 95 (you must see the opening and closing to ensure that the team is trained properly)
- Communicate with other management team members and ensure that the dining room is covered by a member of management or lead supervisor.
- Random checkof temp. logs
- Have all kitchen staff phone numberssend out positive messages
- Have all family members phone numberscontact them about upcoming events and likes/dislikes
- Leadership classes/books continue to grow as a leader
- Help plan and be at all signature events for BST family both communities
- Promote teamwork in both community kitchenswe do not want to ever hear this is not my job
- I'm not assigned to do that.
Pay:
$45, $55,000.00 per year
