    Description


    Idaho National Laboratory is hiring an Industrial Hygienist to work in our ESH&Q Construction Services department. Our team works a fully onsite position located out of multiple facilities in the lab, including Central Facilities Area, Materials & Fuels Complex, and Advanced Test Reactor Facilities, with a 4x10 schedule and every Friday off. This position will report to the ESH&QA Manager.

    Responsibilities Include:
    • Develops, recommends and implements programs, policies, and procedures associated with the recognition, measurement, evaluation, and control of chemical, physical, and biological health hazards.
    • Understand and apply of industrial hygiene principles, theories, and concepts needed to support assigned work organizations.
    • Serve as a team leader or projects within increasing scope and risk.
    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in industrial hygiene or related field & 2-5+ years experience, or Master's of Science Degree in industrial hygiene or related field & 1-3+ years experience, or PhD in industrial hygiene and related field and 0-2+ years experience.
    • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
    Job Information:
    • Salary Grade PR0200: 190 ($72,528 - $119,652) / Salary Grade PR0300: 210 ($95,928 - $158,232)
    • You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
    • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
    • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
