    Overview


    M Health Fairview has an immediate opening for a Lead RN to join our team at the M Health Fairview Eagan Clinic located in Eagan, MN.

    This position is approved for 72 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligable.

    Pay for this role starts at $39.60 and increases based on experince.

    The Eagan Clinic is one of our largest clinics in the Fairview system.

    This site is a teaching facility with a resident clinic as well as Med student program and a Model Clinic for our Primary Care Service Line.

    We are a New Clinic with an improved layout and design. This is a stand alone clinic in a growing business area with phenomenal shopping, restaurants, and walking paths. We also have free parking and easy access to major roads and highways. Many employees choose to make Eagan home to connect with a community, while others appreciate the ease of a commute to our site

    Responsibilities/Job Description


    The working lead serves as the go to person to assist with communication, coordinates and provides training, orientation and department assimilation.

    Encourages and motivates team for immediate problem resolution, provides a consistent presence. Anticipates, identifies and reports departmental areas of concern to clinic supervisor. Fosters and promotes a collaborative and helpful team environment. Completes complex and/or high level project work, but is not a substitute for team member thinking and initiative.

    Coordinates daily activities of work team to ensure patient needs are met.


    • Assists with arranging immediate coverage for sick calls and assigns breaks.
    • Monitors daily work assignments and makes adjustments in assignments to meet department requirements.
    • Refers standards of practice issues to supervisor for resolution.
    • Responds to and helps resolve operational issues, including provider issues
    • Ensures adequate inventory of supplies is maintained by serving as liaison to supply chain.
    Coordinates staff orientation and training. Provide education training and orientation to new and existing staff


    • Participates in interview process.
    • Provides observations and assists with testing for competency regarding performance, conduct and behavior for performance management.
    • Maintains confidentiality
    Promotes team environment within department, other site departments, and other clinics.


    • Serves as a clinic representative at peer group or other meetings as assigned.
    • Attends clinic meetings and communicates appropriate information to others.
    • Leads by example
    • Problem solving and project work.
    • Provides motivation and encouragement to employees.
    • Serves as mentor within the dept
    • Supports organizational initiatives
    Supports a safe work environment.


    • Ensures safety policies and practice are maintained.
    • May serve as Infection Control or Safety Liaison.
    • Ensures equipment is in working order and quality control logs are completed as needed.
    • May assist in patient feedback or concerns by investigation of issues
    Qualifications

    Required


    • 2-3 years experince working in a clinic setting
    • Current Minnesota Licensure

    • Ability to adapt to change and engage in ongoing process improvement
