We are currently searching for an experienced and energetic Driver Recruiter to focus on finding qualified commercial drivers for the Pacific Northwest Region. The ideal candidate is a capable self-starter who is experienced developing recruiting strategies and executing onboarding functions with minimal direction and thrives in a challenging yet fun environment. A day on the job looks like this:
Building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business partners
Source, interview, and evaluate candidates in a timely manner while always providing a positive candidate experience
Managing the driver onboarding process using web-based recruiting software and workflow solutions popular in the trucking and transportation industry.
Drive the offer process, including negotiating and closing candidates on offers
Maintaining standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
3+ years of experience recruiting commercial licensed drivers in the U.S.
Experience in a supply chain and or transportation environment preferred
Exceptional customer service skills when serving outside customers and internal departments-both over the phone and in person
Ability to instill trust and maintain confidentiality
Ability to juggle multiple job openings with superb accuracy and great attention to detail
Strong sense of urgency to quickly respond to all assignments
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Intermediate Excel skills required
Ability to navigate electronic agreement programs preferred
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a "no job too small" outlook
