- Design and deliver group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational and management areas within the organization
- Ensure that new Entegris Colorado Springs team members receive appropriate new hire training
- Develop and apply cross training matrix to ensure business continuity in operation departments
- Develop training materials and/or recommend or utilize vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives
- Formulate training plans and determine training methods based on training needs and effectiveness e.g. individual training, group instruction, meetings, and workshops
- Select or develop training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference materials
- Build on existing systems to continuously improve the local training program to ensure production team is fully trained to meet customer expectations in terms of quality and delivery
- Evaluate effectiveness of training and development programs and review evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in training objectives and methods
- Work in partnership with HR and various business functions to analyze and assess training and development needs for individuals, departments, and/or business units
- Maintain and report training compliance and effectiveness metrics and data to management on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required; degree in Instructional Design is highly preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in the development, implementation and facilitation of corporate training programs is required; experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred
- Strong verbal & written communication skills and the proven ability to adapt training content and delivery style to various levels and business functions within an organization
- Ability to learn industry/manufacturing specific software systems, regulatory requirements and safety programs in order to effectively train employees
- Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus
- Ability to understand and develop metrics to validate training performance
- Participation and Engagement in the Continuous Improvement of Safety throughout the facility
- Minimization of Unplanned Down Time on Equipment and Effective Utilization of Labor
- Output to meet revenue targets with minimal quality escapes to our customers
- Retention of headcount and the ability to react quickly to fill positions as needed

As the Training Development Specialist, you will work with plant leadership, 1st line supervisors and HR to assess training needs, develop and deliver effective training programs. You will update and continuously improve our training program to ensure we are using best-in-class practices to meet our customer expectations. You will drive the implementation of systems that will ensure our labor force is fully capable regarding safety, quality, delivery and productivity. You will also be responsible for determining what resources are needed to have an effective training program and for implementing those resources.
