    **Team Leader**

    **1st Shift**

    **New Bern, NC / Full-time**

    BSH, a leading manufacturer of innovative, high-end appliances, sells its products through a network of distributors and dealers. The distribution of BSHs product is a key element in the continued growth of the company. The distribution center is organized and run within the context of a team environment in which individual talents are combined for maximum benefit and effect. As a Team Leader, you will be vital in the operations of the CDC. This involves organizing workflow, providing appropriate and adequate instructions on how to carry-out assignments and ensuring results are documented as required for the distribution center.

    **Responsibilities**

    Ensure timely and accurate receipt of processing of shipments.

    Train and motivate workforce toward continuous improvement.

    Accurate and timely knowledge of order and inventory status.

    Maximize production and efficiency.

    Lead Temporary employees, prioritize, and direct best processing practices.

    Act as back-up when Whse. Supervisor is on vacation etc.

    Cross trains warehouse personnel in all functions related to material handling; shipping and receiving.

    Maintain a safe, clean work environment.

    Provide BSH personnel with information regarding the status of shipments when requested.

    Utilize Radio Frequency systems to support inventory control, shipping and receiving documentation in SAP.

    Insure time study methods are followed in the receipt of goods

    Insure daily PM sheets are completed before the start of the shift

    Organize and assign work instructions for your shift

    Insure Management is keep informed on any operational issues

    Keep overtime to a minimum

    Report all product damages immediately and the responsible staff member

    Pictures of all incidents, inbound, outbound and within the facility

    Written documentation concerning the above

    **Physical Demands:**

    Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

    **Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions**:

    Physical working conditions:

    Warehouse environment, heat, and dust.

    **Your Profile**

    **Job Qualification Requirements:**

    Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.

    Prior Supervisor experience preferred.

    **Knowledge:**

    Skill of Function exposure:

    Language skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees.

    Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

    Extensive knowledge of multiple software applications.

    **Experience:**

    Two Three years related experience and or training.

    Warehouse experience

    **Machines, Tools Equipment (Office and Industrial), Software:**

    Office or related machinery utilized:

    Phones, faxes, calculators and copiers

    Basoloid, Forklift, Clamp Truck, and Drexel equipment.

    Must be able to be forklift certified.

    Radio Frequency System
