    Description

    Summary:


    This position is responsible for leading the maintenance and day to day operations of company oil and gas processing equipment including pumps, compressors, vapor recovery units, generators and motors.


    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise Compressor Technicians.
    • Perform major mechanical maintenance and overhauls of equipment under minimal supervision.
    • Verify dimensions, specifications, and tolerances using blueprints.
    • Perform repairs at a central repair shop or at well sites.
    • Follow safe operating practices and maintain a safe working environment.
    • Assist emissions team in keeping all company owned units in compliance
    • Track monthly expenses for owned fleet
    • Track associated inventory and assure parts are replaced as needed
    • Assist in an on the job mentoring program
    • Assist on job planning and cost bids.
    • Able to work 5/2 or 8/6 schedule along with on call.
    • Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with CDPHE, EPA, COGCC, PHMSA, DOT, and Company requirements.
    • Develop, implement and follow SOPs of each task we complete.
    • Participate in monthly Safety Meetings and perform Near Miss Reporting, JSA paperwork, Stop Work Authority, and LOTO.
    • Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and regulator inspections.
    • Operates a company vehicle safely, adheres to all driving laws and company vehicle use policies.
    • Work in all weather conditions including rain, snow, mud, etc. - work is performed in hazardous driving and working conditions all season of the year.
    • Provide all necessary departments with ongoing and accurate operational updates pertaining to daily operations.

    Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

    • Ability to work efficiently independently as well as effectively within a team environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong mechanical ability and demonstrated ability to repair pumps, compressors, and motors.
    • Knowledge of basic gas processing equipment.
    • Ability to read blueprints.
    • Basic computer skills (e.g., e-mail, Word, Excel).
    • Proven understanding and adherence to workplace safety protocols and practices.
    • Demonstrates a proactive problem-solving approach, actively seeking solutions and overcoming obstacles.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, empowering team members to take ownership of their work and develop their skills.
    • Ability to effectively lead and motivate individuals.
    • Ability and Willingness to learn CIVI processes.

    Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • High School Diploma, GED, trade school or equivalent required.
    • Minimum 8 years related experience in oil and gas or related petrochemical industries required.

    $100,000 - $115,000
