Field Service Engineer - Munich, Germany

Responsibilities:


• Install, start-up, and service vacuum equipment and components in Palmona Park


• Troubleshoot, analyze defects, and repair systems in the field


• Provide technical support to in-house and on-site customers


• Assist with sales support for spare parts, components, service, and special technical solutions


• Offer technical support for tests and special applications of customers in the vacuum laboratories


• Perform preventive maintenance and address challenges presented by customers


• Train customers on vacuum products

To be considered for this position, you will need the following:


• High technical competence, such as an engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or 3-5 years of experience as a technician working with vacuum, heat treatment, or semiconductor equipment


• Experience in vacuum technology is a must, and experience in plumbing, fluids, and robotics is desirable


• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues


• Knowledge and aptitude for working with mechanical, computer, electrical, pneumatics, and electro-mech
