    LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Publicly Traded Manufacturing Company who is looking to hire a Senior Cost Analyst for their Houston office. The ideal candidate has strong budget preparation and analysis experience to be able to support the company's biggest plant. This role offers a hybrid working schedule, a very competitive compensation package, and defined professional development programs

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Responsible for overall daily cost accounting activities, M&E closing processes, and monthly reporting.

    · Drafts segments of financial statements and reports for financial analysis; verifies and understands business conditions and actions that contribute to financial results.

    · Specifics of the job will vary to include assisting with journal entries, checking supporting entries, budgeting processes, product costing, physical inventory observations and accurate recording, and fixed asset reviews.

    Qualifications:

    · Minimum 5+ years related cost accounting experience; manufacturing experience preferred.

    · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.

    · CMA or CPA certifications preferred.
